The rise of social media is the story of India today. It is an age old world that has brought forth a transformation in India's social and economic lives. With this new age came many benefits but also problems along with it. The Internet, the technology which every Indian uses either online or offline has become a part of our daily life since its inception. It gives us instant access to information, be it news about any world event or breaking headlines across countries or even local news in our neighbourhood city or town. More importantly, it helps us share thoughts with people who are miles away from us at the same time. Internet has become an integral part of our lives, be it students uploading their assignments, parents seeking guidance for education of their children, professionals seeking advice or employers looking out for suitable candidates for job openings. This new found power of the Internet helps create new occupations and opportunities which were non-existent few years ago. The Internet has made available to us a wide range of platforms on which we can connect with our near and dear ones. Whether it is Facebook, Twitter or Instagram or chatting messenger apps like WhatsApp or WeChat, each establishment has its own unique features that sets itself apart from the rest. The Indian market is now flooded with many such options like Sharechat, Hike etc. This is a story of a young returnee from the US, Raghu Sharma, who returns to India after 12 years to take charge of operations of Sharechat, a messaging app for social media. In turmoil due to his parent's separation and his dad's impending marriage, Raghu finds solace in this new mission. But upon landing in Bengaluru he finds himself being unable to cope with the various facets of Indian social life. He soon realises there are many challenges lying ahead of him and the task before him seems tough even if he tries to keep things simple. The story has 2 parallel arcs, Raghu's life in Bengaluru and his life in the US. This story shows us how the relationship between a mother and son is like and how difficult it can be to make a parent understand their decisions. The story also shows us how godparent's influence their child's lives. Raghu Sharma (Siddharth) is twenty-five years old and is an intelligent young man with good looks as well as an entrepreneurial streak. He is committed to becoming independent like his parents who had always strived hard for independence and stability of their family with no exceptions. When Raghu's mother (Sudha Chandran) asks him to take care of his father (Kulbhushan Kharbanda)'s well-being, he refuses to do that but promises that he would look after the family business. On the other hand, Raghu's father is a strict disciplinarian and very much different from Raghu. He believes in work hard and spends life independently with no dependencies or relationships between them. When his wife leaves him, he accepts it without any emotions. His only demand from her is that she should not disturb him again. cfa1e77820
